Jane has been a business attorney in Alaska since 1987. She is passionate about helping small businesses thrive because she believes successful small businesses support and enhance strong and vibrant communities. 

Prior to starting Jane Sauer Law, Jane conducted her business law practice in Anchorage as a shareholder at Manley & Brautigam, of counsel with Perkins Coie, and shareholder with Bankston & McCollum. She also worked for a Kodiak law firm and as an executive with a civil construction company. Jane was raised in the Midwest, attended Indiana University, graduated from the University of Wisconsin-Madison, and received her law degree from Stanford Law School.

In addition to assisting clients, Jane enjoys spending time with her 3 adult sons (and their girlfriends) and other family and friends, cross-country skiing, running, biking, reading, picking berries, and enjoying life in Alaska.
